The BJCC is proud to present six Professional Excellence Awards to recognise the achievements of our growing community and the greater landscape of Brisbane’s young professionals and entrepreneurs. We encourage you to apply for all award/s relevant to your achievements and spread some kindness and nominate your peers who deserve to be celebrated.
Professional Excellence Awards Eligibility Criteria
Nominations and applications for the Entrepreneur of the Year, Intrapreneur of the Year, and Social Impact awards are open to the wider community. Nominations and applications for the BJCC Member of the Year Award are open to current members of the BJCC. Nominations and applications for the Lifetime Achievement Award are open to current or alumni members of the BJCC. Nominations and applications for the President’s Award are open to current BJCC Ambassadors and members of the Committee.
Nominees and applicants and their primary business location must be based in Brisbane. Nominees and applicants must be aged between 18 and 39 years old as per the BJCC’s standard membership requirements, with the exception of the Lifetime Achievement Award where nominees and applicants must be over 18 years of age.
Further eligibility criteria specific to individual awards are listed within the relevant application form.
When a person is nominated the BJCC will invite the nominee to submit an application for the relevant award in order for the submission to be complete. Nominations will be kept anonymous. Intrapreneur of the Year Award
Awarded to an individual who has made a significant impact to their employer and whose contributions have resulted in clear company growth and progression.
Entrepreneur of the Year Award
Awarded to an individual or team who, through founding and operating their own business, has penetrated the market and achieved success.
Social Impact Award
Awarded to an individual who uses their skills for good and demonstrates measurable social impact within the community, or devotes consistent effort to not-for-profit or community service.
BJCC Member of the Year
Awarded to a current BJCC member who has achieved personal or professional success in the last year.
Lifetime Achievement Award
Awarded to a current or alumni member of the BJCC who has used their experience in the BJCC to achieve significant milestones within their career or the community.
President’s Award
Awarded to a current BJCC Committee member or Ambassador who has demonstrated deep commitment and outstanding contribution to the BJCC and its ongoing activities.
